I love that I have so many old friend’s weddings this year. I have known Carolyn since elementary school and many of my young childhood school memories included her. I was so excited when she reached out to me to photograph her wedding because I hadn’t seen her in years! To be honest, I was quite nervous about this day, because I knew I would be seeing some old faces, but my worry was totally unwarranted. :) I had a grand ‘ole time, and I was so honored to have been able to capture this day for them. Many years of love, life & happiness, you two!
P.S. I just loved her dress, and her HAIR! I’m totally loving all the braids I’ve been seeing lately. :) And of course, all the trees :D
Susan, we couldn’t be happier with our wedding photos! We were (okay, I was) so nervous about the wet weather (rain in June?!), but you really worked your magic and turned what I thought was going to be a disaster into a masterpiece. We appreciated your professional manner; you were more than our wedding photographer but our wedding photography coach. I especially love the little details — Glen’s little nephew Liam’s mischievous gaze, the wet leaves, the gentle folds of my wedding gown.
And to top it all off, we were able to rekindle a friendship that goes back to elementary school and orchestra! I can still picture you, violin and bow in hand in Ms. Kuhn’s class.
