Smoky hot babes + camera = magic.

Just in time for some Halloween spookiness. ;)

Featuring the fashion blogging babes Haley of Colour Me Classic & Emily of Emsemble.

I was made to keep your body warm
But I’m cold as the wind blows so hold me in your arms

My heart’s against your chest, your lips pressed in my neck
I’m falling for your eyes, but they don’t know me yet
And with this feeling I’ll forget, I’m in love now

- “Kiss Me”, Ed Sheeran

The last of the summer, the last of the sunset, the last of the moments. Shortly before leaving San Diego, I shot this series with Megan, and it retrospect now, it feels like these images were a bit of a goodbye. They’re definitely bittersweet to me, as I look back upon them, because they were shot in our old home and neighborhood. I definitely miss that place, and the ocean that came with it.

There is nothing better than a strong friendship — friends that support & balance one another, especially. Audrey & Belinda have such a special friendship, and it was a great joy to do this photo shoot for them. As two strong, beautiful yogini’s, these ladies are embarking on new chapters of their lives — starting a new venture (One Love Encinitas) as well as embracing a new decade in their lives. They wanted to do this shoot to celebrate those things, which I think is a good of reason as any to get pretty and have some fun in front of the camera!

Many thanks to Amanda of Thorne Artisty for working her magic & providing hair, makeup & wardrobe styling.

. . . . . . . .

A couple of months ago, I teamed up with the amazing Amanda of Thorne Artistry and photographed this stunning southwest inspired fashion/yoga shoot. The model was the beautiful Meg of the nest yoga studio, who channeled her inner warrior spirit that day! A mix of beauty and strength combined beautifully to produce a set of amazing photos that bring yoga into a totally new light! Many thanks to Amanda who came up with the idea and styling & Meg for being a stunning model. :)
